Frequently Asked Questions
-
FlorEver Pressed is located in McKinney, TX but receives bouquets nationwide. Local clients can drop of their flowers and clients that aren't close by will receive detailed instructions on how to safely package and ship their flowers.
-
We recommend booking as early as possible! We have a limited number of bouquets we can process each week so the sooner you book, the better. We do accept last minute orders if we have the space available.
-
We recommend shipping your flowers within 3 days of the event. If you're local, we recommend dropping off the flowers within 4-5 days of the event. Flowers need to be fresh and we can only process the flowers in the condition we receive them.
-
From the moment we get your flowers, you can expect the entire preservation process to take between 3-6 months. This timeframe depends on many things, including the flower drying process, client communication during design and the amount of pieces being made.
-
Color variations will occur naturally. Pinks, reds and purples often darken while some colors lighten. White flowers tend to take on cream, tan and blonde shades. The best way to make sure your flowers maintain good color is to keep them in water, take extra care of them when handling and deliver them to us as quickly as possible.
-
Yes, color-enhancing processes may be used to ensure your flowers look their best in the final product. Color correction is not an optional add-on and may not be purchased. Color correction is done solely at the artist’s discretion. Color corrected flowers may still fade over time as the shade of the petals under the color correction changes color.
-
Flowers are a natural and organic material and will lose color over time. We use many different techniques to slow this process, including 99.9% UV-resistant acrylic on all of our main frames, color correction when needed and detailed instructions on how to care for your flowers. Please note that even color corrected flowers may still fade over time as the shade of the petals under the color correction changes color naturally.
